Basketball Camp Vilnius 2021
Although the summer still seems far away, we are already planning the fourth annual basketball camp “Basketball Camp Vilnius”. Preliminary estimated date of the camp is June 28. – 3 July The head coach of the camp, Marius Pociukonis, is already making plans according to which the young basketball players will not only improve their skills, but will also have an interesting and meaningful time. “The format of the camp will remain similar, as we will use the HOOPS101 program again, which showed to be successful in our country. We are currently addressing organizational issues. The ongoing pandemic is not making it easier to organize, but we plan to have everything solved in the mid of April” – Marius Pociukonis talked about the future camp in Vilnius. As in previous years, the camp will last for six days, with activities scheduled to take place Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All participants will receive branded double-sided camp uniforms, meals for lunch and snacks, and will be insured against bone fractures and ligament rupture injuries. Basketball Camp Vilnius 2020

Third annual “Basketball Camp Vilnius 2020” will be held on June 29 – July 4, 2020. As usual camp will be organized according to HOOPS101program and standarts. Coach Marius Pociukonis will be running the camp as a head coach. “I am very excited to run this camp. Collaborating with Mike Kelly last two years was very good experience for our organisation. We will work the detailed program with him and will organise the camp up to highest standards.” – coach Pociukonis said.

Preliminary schedule for the camp:
Monday – Friday – 9:30 – 17:00
Saturday – 10:00 – 14:00

Fee – 170 Eur. Fee includes lunch and snacks, official camp uniform, water, insurance from injuries.

Basketball Camp Vilnius 2019

On June 24-29, 2019, International Basketball Operations (IBO) together with HOOPS101 for second year in a row held Basketball Camp Vilnius. Coach Mike Kelly was head coach of the camp: “Glad to be back here. Great, kids, great staff and great atmosphere. I am happy that number of participants is growing and willing to be back here next year.” The geography of participants is increasing, since this year camp attracted youngsters from Lithuania, Italy and USA. Basketball Camp Vilnius will be back in 2020!

Basketball Camp Vilnius 2018

On June 18-23, 2018, International Basketball Operations (IBO) in cooperation with Hoops 101 held first Basketball Camp Vilnius. It turned out to be a very successful event. 21 participant from Vilnius, Lithuania and Chicago, USA spent six days together working and improving their basketball skills. Coach Mike Kelly (Hoops 101) said: “I am happy to be a part of it. I think this type of camp has a bright future ahead not only in Vilnius, but in whole country. We (Hoops 101) are very successful in the US and I don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t be a case in Lithuania. IBO and Hoops 101 made a great cooperation, camp was very well organised, participants were working very hard and had learn a lot”.
